Capita publishes Low Carbon Transition Plan pathway to net zero by 2045

Read moreAs part of the new contract, the company will deliver tech-enabled back-office services for public servants across four major UK government departments: the Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Justice, Home Office, and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Capita will deliver a suite of services including HR, payroll, recruitment, finance, procurement, and service desk support, underpinned by technologies delivered with hyperscalers and partners.
The contract is expected to commence in phased tranches, beginning March 2026, and will run for seven years, with the option of three one-year extensions. It is worth £370 million over this 10-year period.

The IFRS 15 transaction price (order book value) is £370 million over 10 years (including all extension periods) which excludes additional change and expansion services expected over the term of the contract.
